How Jivnani Group handles personal data when you visit jivnani.com or write to us.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

In brief

  • jivnani.com is an information website. It has no forms, no accounts and no payments.
  • The site uses no analytics or advertising trackers and sets no cookies of its own.
  • Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
  • If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send, and we use it to reply.
  • You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to our Grievance Officer.

Who we are

jivnani.com is run by Neeraj Jivnani, in India. Jivnani Group is the name his companies work under.

Run by
Neeraj Jivnani
Email
neeraj@jivnani.com

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Neeraj Jivnani. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), we are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here: we decide why and how it is processed.

What this policy covers

This policy covers jivnani.com only.

Each company in the group has its own website and its own policies. Today that is Hiigher, at hiigher.co. When you visit a company’s website, or deal with a company as a client, employee or supplier, that company’s own policies apply.

The site also links to websites run by others. Their owners decide how they handle your data, and this policy does not cover them.

What we collect

When you visit the site

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data about each visit, such as:

  • your IP address
  • the date and time of the request
  • the page or file requested
  • your browser and device type, as your browser reports them
  • the website that sent you here, if any

We may see summary figures that Cloudflare produces from this data, such as the number of requests and the countries they come from. We do not use this data to identify you.

When you write to us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and anything you put in your message or its attachments. Please don’t send sensitive information, such as bank or card details, passwords, health information or government ID numbers, unless we ask for it.

What we don’t collect

The site has no forms, accounts or payments. It uses no analytics, advertising or social media trackers and sets no cookies of its own. Its fonts are stored on the site itself, so loading a page sends nothing to a font service. The cookie policy lists the security cookies Cloudflare may set.

How we use it

We use personal data only for these purposes:

  • To deliver the site and keep it secure. Cloudflare uses technical data to serve pages, block attacks and automated abuse, and keep the site running.
  • To reply to you. We use what you send us to answer your message and deal with your request.
  • To pass your message to the right company. If you write to us about one of the group’s companies, we may forward your message to that company so it can reply.
  • To meet legal duties. We may keep or disclose data when the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Under the DPDP Act, we process personal data you have chosen to give us for a purpose, such as writing to us so we can reply, and personal data the law requires or allows us to process. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site. Cloudflare handles technical data under its own privacy policy.
  • Our email provider, Google (Google Workspace), which stores the emails we send and receive.
  • Companies in the group, when your message is meant for one of them.
  • Government bodies, courts and regulators, when the law requires it.

We do not share personal data with anyone else unless you ask us to.

Data processed outside India

Cloudflare runs data centres around the world, and our email provider may store emails outside India. Your data may therefore be processed in other countries. The DPDP Act allows this, except to countries the Government of India restricts by notification.

How long we keep it

Cloudflare keeps technical data for the periods set in its own policies.

We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your message and any follow-up, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. After that, we delete them.

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and Cloudflare protects it against attacks. We take reasonable steps to protect the personal data we hold. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that data will never be lost or misused.

If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the DPDP Act requires.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you can:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it
  • ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it
  • withdraw your consent, where we rely on it
  • get an answer from us to any complaint about how we handle your data
  • name another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act for yourself

To use any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer (details below). Write from the email address you used to contact us, or tell us how we can confirm who you are. We will reply within the time the law sets.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

The site is not meant for children, which the DPDP Act defines as anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect children’s personal data. If a child has written to us, a parent or lawful guardian can ask us to delete the message.

Changes to this policy

When we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will update this policy before we add any forms, analytics or cookies to the site, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Contact and Grievance Officer

The Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made under it and the DPDP Act ask us to name a person who answers questions and complaints about personal data. For us, that is our Grievance Officer. Write to them about this policy, your personal data or a complaint:
